- How did you come across our brand?
Being a first time mum, I was looking for a keepsake to symbolise having my little girl and something that I could have with me always. I came across so many necklaces that had birthstones or initials engraved on them, but none of them jumped out to me. Then one day I was looking at Facebook and Deja Marc came up. As soon as I saw the fingerprint necklaces and how detailed the fingerprints were I knew it was just what I wanted.
- Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m 29 years old and first time mum to a gorgeous little girl Daisy Doune (currently 7 weeks). I also have a 10 year old step-daughter Pia who I just adore and is a great big sister to little Daisy. I'm lucky to have the next 12 months off work to spend with my little one, bonding and watching her grow.
Being a mum has been a lifelong dream, and to be able to finally experience having my own little bundle of joy has been the best blessing. Having lost my mum at 13 years of age to cancer, going on this journey of motherhood is really special to me and I only hope I can be as wonderful as my mum was with my own daughter.

- What is the meaning behind your Deja Marc Fingerprint Jewellery?
My Deja Marc fingerprint jewellery is extremely special to me, it is a symbol of motherhood. I chose to have my baby girl's fingerprint engraved, she was 3 weeks old at the time. It is a symbol of me becoming a mother, a keepsake to remember this great adventure I’m embarking on and a way to always remember how small my little girl was. It is a piece of jewellery I will keep forever and wear with such pride.
- Tell me something about yourself that I would've never guessed?
I don’t wear a lot of jewellery. Usually you will find me wearing two rings and that’s about it. I am very fussy when it comes to jewellery, I don’t like chunky items, I like elegant/simple. So to find a piece that I love and am willing to wear all the time is huge for me. And that is what my Deja Marc fingerprint necklace is, elegant, simple, detailed and just beautiful. I have had so many compliments about it and I know of a few people who have now ordered their own.
