Our Double Sided Handwriting Locket Necklace is a wearable memory, crafted to celebrate your most meaningful bond.

Each locket is diamond-engraved with the handwriting of someone you hold close, taken from an old birthday card, love letter, or drawing your child has brought home from school. Made to mirror the ink in exact detail, every piece is made to order with exceptional care in our Sydney studio, and opens to reveal space for two cherished photographs.

Suspended from a delicate chain and available in 18k Gold Vermeil or Sterling Silver, this necklace preserves the beauty of a loved one's unique handwriting, elevating your most sentimental jewellery with a story only you can tell.

Once your locket has been dispatched, you will be emailed a link to our customisable template to print out your photos from home. This comes with simple instructions, allowing you to switch out your imagery whenever you please.

Composition and Care

Each Deja Marc piece is handcrafted from precious metals, designed to be worn, loved, and passed down through generations. From 18k Gold Plating (2.5 microns), 925 Sterling Silver and Ruthenium to 9k and 14k Solid Gold.

Shipping and Returns

Once your order is placed, your complimentary print kit (if selected) will be dispatched within 24 hours. After you've uploaded your prints and they're approved by our team, your bespoke piece will be sent to our engraving team and completed within 7 business days.

Upload Your Handwriting File

Prior to placing your order, you'll be prompted to upload an image of the handwriting you’d like engraved. This could be a note from a birthday card, a message from a loved one, or a treasured letter that's been tucked away for years.

We Engrave Your Jewellery

Our skilled engraving team then delicately transforms your handwriting into a lasting keepsake, turning a fragile piece of paper into something far more solid and permanent. Every curve, loop, and imperfection is preserved with care, capturing the emotional weight of the original writing in precious metal.

 
Step 3

Final Checks & Delivery

Your finished piece is then carefully reviewed once more to ensure it’s a true and exact replica of the original handwriting.

Only once it meets our highest standards is it packaged in our signature, gift-ready box and sent out to you, freezing a moment in time and giving you a small reminder of what matters most.

Before engraving begins, every print is carefully reviewed and approved by our team. If we think we can achieve a better result, we'll work with you until we're confident your jewellery will be everything it should be.

Common Questions

Do you edit the handwriting at all?

We replicate the handwriting exactly as you provide it, with every curve and detail preserved. In some cases, we may need to adjust the layout (such as stacking the words) to ensure the engraving remains clear and legible on your pendant. If you have a specific layout in mind, feel free to leave a note at checkout and our team will do their best to accommodate it.

Is there a word limit for handwriting pieces?

Every piece of handwriting is unique, so we don’t have a strict word limit. Our circular pendants are 16mm x 16mm, and our design team will carefully adjust the layout to keep your message clear and beautiful. As a general guide, we recommend a maximum of 4 words for the best balance, but if your handwriting includes more, that’s absolutely fine. Our team will reach out with a custom solution to make sure your message still looks perfect.

Do you add the images to the lockets?

Once your locket has been dispatched, you will be emailed a link to our customisable template to print out your photos to the exact size from home. This comes with simple instructions, allowing you to switch out your imagery whenever you please.

How long does the whole process take?

Once we receive your print, your keepsake will be handcrafted in approximately 7 days, which includes engraving, polishing, and packaging with care. If you need a print kit, we’ll ship it out to you within 24 hours (Monday – Friday). Once it arrives, there's no rush to capture the print, but once it's captured, you can upload it using the QR code provided. If you already have a print, you can upload it prior to purchase, or afterwards via our upload portal, and we’ll get started as soon as we receive it.
