Solid Gold
Our 9k and 14k Solid Gold pieces are made for everyday wear, and since they're resistant to tarnish and discolouration, they’re an investment in jewellery that lasts. That said, caring for solid gold will ensure it remains radiant. We would recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, showering, or exercising, and polishing it occasionally will restore its natural glow. Engraved details may subtly influence how the surface ages over time, adding character without affecting durability.
18k Gold Vermeil
18k Gold Vermeil is crafted with a thick layer of 18k gold over Sterling Silver, making it far more durable than standard gold plating, but still delicate. Keep your vermeil pieces away from water, perfumes, and lotions, as these can wear down the gold layer and cause fading or tarnishing. Always remove vermeil jewellery before showering, exercising, or applying beauty products, and store it safely in a tarnish-free box when not in use.
Sterling Silver
Sterling Silver is luminous and strong, but it can naturally oxidise over time. To slow this process, avoid exposing silver to water, humidity, and perfumes, and remove your jewellery before showering or swimming. Wearing your silver regularly actually helps prevent tarnish, while occasional polishing will restore its shine. For a deeper refresh, your pieces can be placed in an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner or gently cleaned with a light mist of rubbing alcohol and the cleaning cloth included in your jewellery box.
